This is also an excellent choice if you are keen on an interval-style training program. Treadmills offer a fantastic alternative to running outdoors, especially since their platforms are designed to produce less impact on the joints. To increase the difficulty of your workout, simply raise the platform up on an incline.

Stair climber

Anyone, both beginners and advanced users, can use a stair climber. This is another low impact exercise option that lets you keep all your focus on working hard. Be sure not to lean on the handlebars, as this will reduce the intensity of your workout.
