If you are in a relationship, have been in one or know someone in a relationship then you will know that people do cheat. It is commonly believed that cheaters now have a common playground--the world of online dating. Romance can be found easily online but there are also ways to uncover your partner through the Internet. All you have to do be careful with what you disclose and test your partner at every phase of chatting, cross questioning him and coming back at the facts now and again.
But then, with all the tools available to make cheating on a partner easy how can you protect from a break-up which is the final outcome of cheating?

If you are sure that your partner is cheating then it is best that you find out why is he/she cheating on you and try and fix up the problem. It is always desirable to make amends than repent years down the line when it is too late to save the relationship.

Such websites can be used for a number of good purposes too. If your partner is using a social networking site it does not mean that he/she is cheating upon you. She/he might be connecting with old friends, acquaintances, conducting business or making new friends. One warning sign might be if you can not see your partners profile or if he/she is having a lot of conversations with their ex.
Dating Websites: Dating websites help you to find a date or a partner. So, if your partner is using an online dating site then there is a real trouble. This is an ideal place for your cheating partner to meet up with a new romance. This is when the suspicion of an affair turns into a real affair. If you find out that your partner is using a dating website then it is time to act as he/she might be planning to cheat you sooner rather then later.
There are various ways of catching an online cheater. Even though the Internet makes cheating simpler but it also provides tools to catch the cheaters. You can check your partner’s all online profiles and chat history.
There are also key logger programs that can be installed into your computer. This type of software captures each and every phrase that is typed by the keyboard. You can run such a program if you suspect your partner to be using email, IM or chat.
The last resort is of course direct approach. If your partner is acting secretively while using the computer you can ask him/her to show what they are doing. This will not allow your partner to erase off the history and other details.
