A book consists of several articles that gradually expounds on a single topic. The articles must be clear, coherent, concise and informative.
Books have been a part of our lives. We see them everyday. We first learned our alphabet through books in our childhood. It sheds information on the things we want to learn.

A book is collection of words that give light about a certain topic. Several papers called pages or leaves are fastened together at a hinge.
Books are classified into fiction and non fiction. The content of a fiction book is product of a writer’s imagination. Non fiction books are factual.
Each book has a title. It describes the general content in a few words. The body of the book discusses the title or topic in greater details. It is made up of several paragraphs that translate into articles. These articles basically answer the six questions of who, what, when, where, why and how. They all expound on the topic.
Here’s a general illustration as sample:
Topic: Leadership in Business
Content: Discussion of the word “leadership”
Explanation of the importance of leadership in the business
Enumeration of traits of a leader
Enumeration of exemplary past leaders

General Format in Writing Books
Start with a title. A title is always the first thing seen in a book. It should be catchy, descriptive and concise. It should draw attention. Avoid misleading titles though. A title should be an overview of the contents of the book.
The body of articles should be brief and informative. Readers are easily bored in long reads. There are two ways to write:
1. Deduction – starts with a general sentence and goes on to expound in the succeeding articles.
2. Induction – starts with specifics and ends with a general statement in conclusion.
Give examples when necessary as further illustration.
Write a concluding paragraph that summarizes your topic. Keep it short, in 1 to 3 paragraphs. There’s no need to be redundant with what was already stated in the body of articles.
Books are great sources of knowledge and information. Most books however are expensive and not considered a basic necessity. People turn to the internet instead as their primary source of information. Besides getting the information for free, the internet is also more accessible.
The insurgence of downloadable books (or e books) is very appropriate to such people with a thirst for knowledge but can only rely on the internet. These books are being sold online cheaper than an actual book. They are usually sent to your emails after payment, and can be read with a word processor.
Some downloadable books are free. Search for your favorite authors and their newest novels anytime.
Some writers prefer to publish their books online. E books have a wider market and greater exposure online, reaching the far ends of the world.

All e books are brief and concise, unless they are novels. E book novels are exactly the same as the hardcopies.
Advantages of E books
E books browsed in the computer can be easily scanned with the search tab. It is hard to find the data you are looking for in an ordinary book.
Cheaper cost.
Searching is all under your fingertips. No need to hop from one local bookstore.
There are millions of titles to choose in the internet. There are e books of complete set from children’s fairy tale, interesting adventures, educational books, business guides, and novels.
E books are one of the greatest revolutions in the internet. It has made reading very accessible even to the poor. It encouraged reading, and hopefully led to a decreased illiteracy rate around the world.
It doesn’t matter what kind of books interest you. You may be a tennis fan, a photography enthusiast, a nature lover or a computer geek. There are many e books you can download and read according to your needs and tastes. Ignorance is not an option. Start reading and learn.
