A piece of truth you probably know is that a wedding can be something very expensive. However, there are some couples who will have a small budget. To this end, brides and grooms will need to find ways to save money on the event.

You may think that it is quite impossible for you to plan for a perfect wedding with a small budget. It is not totally true. If you can spend the time on research, it is totally possible for you to do so. So, let us discuss how to plan a wedding on a tight budget now.

In fact, the best way to save money on your big day is to make it small. There is no doubt that you can save a lot of money if you only invite 25 guests. This will certainly be excellent. Even if you have to spend $250 on each guest, the total cost will only be $6250. However, if you are going to invite 200 guests, you will need to spend $20000 even if you only need to spend $100 per head.

The venue is also a part which will cost you a lot of money. If you are going to have a small wedding, it will be very easy for you to host the event at your home. You do not need to pay for the venue to this end! This will automatically help you to save tons of cash. Of course your home is not the only choice. You can also see if you can host your wedding at the home of your best friends. As a matter of fact, another advantage of hosting the event at home is that there will be virtually no restriction on the decorations. If you rent a venue outside, there will usually be a lot of restrictions on the decorations.

You will need to prepare some foods for your guests. If you are going to have a small wedding as discussed, you can prepare the foods yourself. This will of course help you to save money. However, if you cannot host the wedding at home for some reasons, you should consider the idea of a buffet style meal. You can save a lot of cash by doing that!

When it comes to the wine in your event, be sure to prepare your own wine. Of course you will certainly do so if you are going to host the wedding at home. Yet, you will still need to do so even if you are going to rent a venue outside. Wine provided by the venue or caterer will usually be more expensive. You will need to discuss the issue with the venue or caterer to see if it is possible for you to bring your own wine.

Remember, it is not difficult for you to save money on your wedding. As discussed, you can save a lot if you can have a small wedding. If it is not possible for you to arrange a small event, you should be creative and it will not be hard to find ways to squeeze your budget!
