There are lots of music boxes that were already produced. But despite of these, nothing can defeat Jukeboxes. See some information about jukeboxes here.

Jukebox is a semi automated musical playing device. You drop a coin in the machine and choose the song you want to be played. The first versions of jukebox are large and bulky. They were designed intricately with loud colors and bright lights.

A person chooses a song by inputting the appropriate code to the screen. Each song has a unique code made up of a combination of letters and numbers (depending on the machine). One finds the list of codes on the jukebox itself.

The very first jukeboxes were made of wood, equipped with coin slots and some buttons. They were very lavishly decorated to look very attractive when placed inside bars, restaurants or amusement centers. It is painted with assorted and bright colors, rotating lights, chrome, ceiling lamps, bubble tubes and some visual gimmicks.

These musical machines are not so popular anymore but you still find them in fairgrounds and some parks. Some of these units were bought by collectors to place in museums for exhibit. Jukeboxes are one of the highlights of the 1980s. For just a few coins your favorite song was within reach when you hangout with friends.

But it fast became obsolete because of many newer inventions that came out in the market. The mp3 players became more affordable that almost everyone has one right now. People could also turn to their computers, go online and download their favorite songs in just a matter of few clicks. Even mobile phones today have features of a music player.

But jukeboxes did not totally fade in the scene. Yet, it was reinvented to ride with the advancement of technology. It is called online jukeboxes. It is a machine where you can find partitions of home games, table games and other supplier of game room equipments. They are used in both the home and the commercial environments. These online jukeboxes are not exactly toys but to give people another place to withstand the chaos that they see in most pubs and bars.

There are already lots of this available in the market. The best known distributing company is the Media Master. They produce the most modern versions in the market. Its jukeboxes are great for those who have an entire music library. Anywhere you are, as long as internet connection is present, you can have you music library if you have Media Master’s jukeboxes.

Their applications give you a chance to be able to set up a large play list of music. These play list of music is then served in the profile of your mini player. Full quality version of track streamed music can then be reached out from your profile.

Make sure you get the right program loaded with many helpful features. It should have a web UI is browser based or software used to control your jukebox. It should also have themable UI.

It should use SQL Database. This is a list of all the songs available in the program. SQL facilitates easy searching either by song title, artist or album. You could add songs anytime to upgrade it also because of this feature.

An important feature also is being able to randomly select songs. Otherwise, if the song is played chronologically every time as it is written in the playlist, it will get boring. You would memorize what song will be played next.

There should also be a song group play list so that if in case the user has already chosen the songs that he wants, he can place is on a playlist. And last, check if there is an integrated ripper which can encode the songs to MP3 format.
