Paintball is one of the most popular exciting outdoor sports which is played all around the world. This action packed sport is shared, enjoyed, and played by people of all ages. In over 30 countries all over the world, there all types of people with a love and passion for adventure who are participating in the ultimate paintball experience.
In the early days of playing paintball, fancy guns for the sport were merely nonexistent. With today s evolving technology ever growing, paintball has come quite a long way since then. Pump paintball was the original and universal pump paintball gun which was first used in the sport. Many consider pump paintball to be the intended method of playing this sport.

Skill level is determined by the player s mastery level. If a player is using an automatic or semi automatic gun during a paintball game, the skill level of that player is quite hard to determine. A rapid fire marker or gun is extremely beneficial in marking the location of a target for a fellow comrade in being able to focus in on another player more quickly. If the player were using a single shot pump gun, the player would then be forced to be much more aware of what is going on around him or her at that precise time.
When purchasing a paintball marker or gun, there are a few guidelines to take into consideration before making your purchase. One important concept to keep in mind is that when you are playing in a paintball battlefield, it is best to not expose very much of your body as possible. Paintball can be painful on bare skin let alone on thin clothes. This is even more important when playing single shot paintball wars. It is also very important to wear head gear at all times. Goggles along with face masks are also pertinent in protecting your vision and face. If the paintball paint were to get in a player s eyes, the game would not be nearly as fun if even enjoyable at all. In fact, the game may even be over at this point.
While paintball has many different styles of play and rules which change over time, paintball still exists as a game. This sport combines a sport, a hide and go seek game, along with the capturing of a flag game, all in one. Paintball is unique because it offers a real life feel in shooting, while still being a game and sport. Get out there and play!
