Third generation LTO tape cartridges developed by TDK are highly durable and ensure accurate recording of data at lowest cost per GB. LTO-3 tapes introduced by TDK Corporation are D2406-LTO3 and D2406W-LTO3. TDK D2406W-LTO3 uses the WORM functionality while the TDK D2406-LTO3 tape does not feature the write-once read-many technology.
