Nashville is the capital of Tennessee and is famous for its music recording and production. It is located in Davidson County on the Cumberland River. It is a favorite place for a lot of travelers and for people who are seeking for fun and enjoyment. With its beautiful tourist destinations, this city is a perfect place for a lot of activities.
Nashville is known as the Music City. It is a major location for music production and recording. Many recording companies have their offices in this city. Musicians and songwriters travel to this town to pursue their dreams of becoming a music star. Many live music events and concerts are being held especially during April to September.

The Music City Independence day Concert Spectacular is Nashville’s biggest event. It is held every July 4, at the downtown Riverfront Park. People can enjoy many live event concerts performed by well known artists and musicians while watching the fireworks displays.
For all food lovers, Nashville is also home to so many restaurants. These restaurants offer a broad assortment of gourmet food to choose from. Similar to music, Nashville caters to all the different types of people. As you are enjoying your meal, you can also relax to the music being played by musicians serenading you.
After enjoying your meal, it is time to experience the nightlife of Nashville. Nightclubs and bars are open even late at night for those who want to party all night long. There are also family oriented shows at the Music Valley area.
Nashville further has other attractions it is proud of. You can visit the place like Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry. The city’s museum features artwork giving opportunity for visitors to experience and understand the history of the area.
Nashville’s botanical gardens offers an assortment of plant life you may never have known about. The City of Parks is a good place for nature tripping. And the Centennial Park showcases the full size replica of the Greek Parthenon. This park is also home of the city art museum.
The Adventure Science Center is very interesting to kids. It provides a lot of fun hands on exhibits for the children. Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is another place where the kids would truly have fun. The zoo features a giant playground called the Jungle Gym.
In any place, people will look for a place to shop, and Nashville has it. If you are interested in a traditional Nashville outfit, the Music Valley Village is a place for so many souvenir shops selling traditional Nashville outfits like boots and hats. For those who are fond of antique items, they can go to 8th Avenue Antique District or Hillsboro Village. Meanwhile, the Goodlettsville antique Community showcases eight packed malls and shops which provide affordable antique items.
For those who want to follow trends, try going to 12th Avenue, South District and Five Points. They sell unique and trendy items. On the other hand, stores offering an old fashioned Italian setting can be found in Nashville Arcade, located at the heart of the business district. With a lot of shopping malls found around the city, Nashville continues to be a perfect place for shopping enthusiasts.
As you are about to go home, it would be a great idea to buy a souvenir taken from the city of music. No other great souvenir to bring home than recording your own song. You can cut a song demo of the song you have written. If you want, you can choose a song from the menu of songs being offered.
