The famous city of Faridabad is trul a wonderful place for excursion. This city has accessible transportation means because of its close proximity to the northern capital region. It has numerous alluring monuments and temples built with unique architectural style and intricate carvings. It is also home to beautiful holiday resorts and golf course.

Aside from the places of interest located in the city like Bhadkal Lake, Dabchik, Raja Nahar Singh Palace, and Suraj Kund, one can visit the places of excursions around Faridabad.
Thus one place to visit during tour is Agra. It has a distance of 200 kilometers from Delhi. The city can be reached through conducted tours from Delhi. It is also accessible by means of state transport buses that ply from Delhi.
In Agra, one can see the Taj Mahal Monument famous not only in India but also in the whole world. Shah Jahanwas the builder of this impressive monument. He built it for love to his wife Queen Mumtaz Mahal.
This monument is designed and patterned according to Mughal architecture along with fine and delicate carvings. The entire structure of the monument is done with white marble. It is even surrounded by garden sand fountains.

Akshardham in Hindu is referred as the divine and eternal abode of the supreme God. It also means haunt of eternal virtues and values of “Akshar.”
The structure of the temple is constructed and managed by HDH Primacy Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha. The temple is beautifully built with matrix of marble and red sandstone. It has also many admirable sculptures with ornamented periphery.
Here at Akshardham, one can experience divinity along with breathtaking grandeur, modern exquisite beauty of the temple. Religious poetry is also offered in this place.
Another excursion destination would be the Fatehpur Sohna Lake. It is a beautiful health cum holiday resort. It has a distance of60 kilometers from Delhi. It is perfect place to b apart from the noise and busy life of the city.
This lake derived its name from a nearby stream. Such stream has sands believed to have littered with Gold. The Hindu word “Sohna” has a meaning of gold.
Moreover, Sohna Lake is very rural and natural by night. Thus one can have a breathtaking view of the lake. The lake has also springs found at the feet of a perpendicular rock. These springs are also capped by a dome. The said spring has water containing sulfur that can disinfect skin disease.
Also, in this place, one can indulge for a relaxing spa at the spa complex located up on the rock because there are available sulfurr, sauna and steam bath facilities.
Last but not the least one must visit is the Aravalli Golf Course. This golf course is a 9 hole golf course in an area of 67 acres. It is 30 kilometers from Delhi.
Further more, the golf course is conveniently situated in Delhi Agra Road also called National Highway No 2. And the road is found at the foothills of the Aravalli Ranges located in Faridabad, Haryana.
The golf tournament At the Aravalli Golf Course is held annually. Golfers either Amateur or veteran participate in the tournament. Membership in the golf course is available for foreign tourists as well as for Indians.
Here, you can find golfing huts, conference hall, bar and restaurant. Billiards and a club house are also provided in the place for entertainment and enjoyment.
