Designing and decorating a room for your baby is a costly, tiring yet fulfilling activity for a parent. There are many available ideas and themes to choose from. You can experiment and be creative in creating a wonderful haven for your baby using baby room themes.
Panda Theme
This theme is suitable for any gender. The room colors will mainly be black and white, having some touches of green. The walls will have grass, trees or bamboo murals in it. Add up some panda stuffed toys in the room.

The lamps and lights can have a bright white color. The bed sheets and mats should have panda prints on it or it must come in black and white colors. Display some panda cartoons or animated movies in the room which you can watch with your baby. Some panda story books will also do. This way, you can tell a story to your baby while he is in the crib.
Rainforest Theme
This theme gives out a relaxing and calming effect. The walls should have a tree or forest mural. You can also put a green wall paper instead of a mural. Display some rainforest animals like birds and other mammals common to a rainforest.
A wooden crib, lamp and door can also add to the overall natural feel of this theme. Display nature themed story books. Moreover, put some real plants or artificial plants that will even add up to the naturalistic appeal of the room.
Kitten Theme
Kittens are babies too and they are also cute like your baby. Furry mats will accentuate the room. Bed sheets and pillow covers may have kitten or claws as well as paw prints on them. Use bright colors in order to create a soft feel inside the room. Touch up with some cat and kitten stuffed toys and display them inside the room.
Computer Theme
This theme can be timely in this age of technology and modernization. The room should resemble the ambience of an office. Wooden or plain and simple furniture can add simplicity but still having a clean and relaxing feel. Have a number or graph mural on the wall. Colors can be dominantly silver, white, gray and black. Display a toy abacus or a toy calculator in the room. A wall clock will add up to the ambiance.
Gothic Theme
This theme creates more of a dark and fantasy effect. Use the colors black, white and purple or violet on the walls and decorations. Have star and moon murals on the ceiling. You can also have star wallpapers on the wall.
Use silk and violet or purple colored bed sheets and pillows. Display some porcelain dolls or sculptures. Have dark colored curtains to keep the dark and mystical ambience of the room.
As long as your budget permits it, just be creative in coming up with whatever theme you like for your baby’s room. It should be a fun activity rather than stressful. So lighten up and let your imagination take control.
