One of the proper ways to minimize the risk of flaming your recipients is to make sure that the people you re sending to are interested about the subject of your email. If someone wants information on flowers and you are emailing her about computers, then yes, you are spamming.
Now, after you get your list (whether you buy one or build it yourself), it s time to set up your emails. The best way to do that is to first try and find out what you are trying to say in the email. This means, what is the point you are trying to get across? Are you just trying to get people to come to your website, or are you trying to get people to learn more about the product you are selling?

This means that you have to have a subject that grabs their attention right away. If it does not, then they may delete it without even reading it. The more interested your recipient is in your subject, the less likely they are to flush your email in the trash can. Having a great subject will also help you get higher open and click through rates.
Also, try and not use too many words in the email. That is because when people are online, they just skim through stuff. They do not just sit there and read everything word for word. At last, if they wish to get off your list, offer them a one click removal process.
